I have been a follower of that new thought in Xicanismo, that is, the fact that not all Xicanos have spansih as a source from whence to draw their other half. This is beyond what I can predict about Xicano letters in the future but I hope it nourish it with autochthonous realities. Xicanos as trilinguals, ain’t that a thought to mull over dinner?
