I've been involved with NACCS in Southern California before, one of my faculty mentors is the chair of NACCS, and I'm still trying to keep myself in Chicana/o Studies. However... that is horrible timing for me as I have my first year exams. I can't go to Miami when I need to be writing papers. Sad, no? I’d love to go. I presented at the NACCS FOCO in San Antonio back in 1997 or so. It was great. I didn't know what the hell I was talking about, but it was fun. My paper was on Prop. 187.
