I found the perfect way to be a good little progressive and hit on men.
Last night I handed out the Columbus League of Pissed Off Voters endorsement guide at one of my favorite local watering holes. It was a great way to meet new people and get out the vote.
I could talk about the very important issues on the ballot (which are being watched nationally) and I will…tomorrow…but first lets talk about the superficial and that is the flirting with men.
You can learn a lot about someone when handing them politically progressive material, by their responses. It is sexy when a man tells you he always votes, knows about the issues and asks you questions about the issues in order to be informed.
Anyone know of any other places to hit on men convince young men people to get out and vote?

hey ElenaMary, i’m a bit on the down side, so i came to your site to get my mind off things.
artsy events are always a good place. Atleast they have been for me.
Most men have no interest in women who blab about politics all day long.
Or women who are pissed off, for that matter.
comment on one of the punk buttons on his hoodie. worked for me.
Ick, looks like some of my trolls have rubbed off on you. I recommend you ban ‘em – they have no business here.
BTW, that mysterious comment with your name on it, which you didn’t post – it was Bruce, as identified by his IP number.
I wonder if he knows pacbell will cancel his account if they get complaints about hate speech?
Ask Anthony. That’s why the facility is there. Trust me, he knows.
Failing that I can recommend some good place in Camden, London. I always welcome an intellectually and politically informed chat-up line. ;-)
hey! I’m w/the League of Pissed Off Voters here in Columbus & I just wanted to let you all know that starting 1/16/06 we’ll be meeting every monday at 6pm at Surly Girl Saloon @ 1126 N. High St, http://www.surlygirlsaloon.com
2006 is a HUGE year for us – we get to help Mary Jo Kilroy kick Pryce’s ass, & we’re going to fire Mike Dewine by bringing out the youth vote for either Paul Hackett or Sherrod Brown (the League hasn’t made its endorsement yet – come help us make the decision!!!!)
Also—the Columbus League link is listed incorrectly – our website is now http://www.columbus.indyvoter.org – the dot in the middle is key.
The flyers mentioned on the blog would probably have been our fall 2005 endorsement slate/voter guide. Right now we’re making our plans for our 2006 endorsement slate/voter guide. We’ll be putting one out for both the May 2 primary & the fall election.
I am *totally* with Elenamary re: political boys are sexy. Boys who aren’t political YET just need a little TLC. (Same for girls too!)
