I’ve been really under the weather this past week. Yesterday, in physics the whole lab was spinning and all the colors in the room were fusing together and then I realized I was the only one seeing this. I need to get better. Of course being ill made me fall behind in classes I am already struggling in. I’ll try and catch up this weekend. You’ll also have to forgive me for not having posted regularly.
But I’ve got some cool stuff for you all. I’ve updated the Bloguerros y Bloguerras list. If there is anything on there you believe should be changed please let me know. Be sure to check out the new additions like In search of Aztlán by a young Xicana union organizer.
For you non-Spanish speakers, my previous post mentions how Michigan will now allow students who studied for at least 2 years in Michigan and achieve at least a 3.5 GPA will qualify for in-state tuition. This is great! You see a lot of students either migrant farmworkers, or undocumented Mexicans who may have studied K-12 in Michigan and done well in School weren’t able to attend college or qualify for things like the FAFSA because they weren’t US Citizens, and not only did they not qualify for loans and grants but tuition at state universities is higher for these students because they are charged out-of-state tuition. Way to go Michigan!
Other Xicano news these high school kids may see their battle with their school as racist (and it is) but it is teaching them about grassroots activism.
Not to let Cindylu get all the attention about her new *friend*, I’ll point you guys over to my new *friend’s* new blog to which I subtitled Cocky, opinionated, and yet supposedly completely different than all other bloggers. I believe this makes him the first person I’ve ever dated that has a blog…even if I am the one that forced him into it.
I hope you guys leave my new *friend* a few comments so that he will be encouraged to keep blogging. Maybe we can even get HP to threaten him into treating me well? (I am not going to link to HP because I refuse to link to his propaganda…however if he leaves a comment you’ll be able to get a link to his BS).
Unlike Cindy who blocked out her new friend’s face for privacy reasons, I am covering up his because it is a bad pic. Maybe I’ll get a good photo tonight and get him to review on his blog the Atmosphere & Blueprint show we are are going to see.

Wow, your *friend* is the same color as my garage door! That’s impressive.
… mad photoshops skillz…
Carlos, it was microsoft paint, thank you. =P
James, you racist. And I was going to name our first child after you…Tool.
Yay for new friends and blocking out pictures. I did mine for another reason, mainly because there are a lot of people in my non-blog life and on the net who don’t know I’m seeing him and I kinda want to keep it that way for a bit.
my head would have been spinning just from being in a physics class. i so don’t miss school.
