EMC, I am sorry we didn't get to meet up. There is something very mystical about El Valle...I hope to one day spend some solid time there. I however, really didn't like San Antonio. Oso, Dude you stood me up in Mexico. And now I've stood-up EMC, Prentiss, Elizabeth, La Maestra, and Jenn Coco,Julissa Thanks. Cindy It is hard...I like to be in control of everything and emotions are so difficult to control. Tin, Melinda McCrady is a Conservative Chicana. She is like me in many ways. Her Dad is Irish, her mom is Mexican. Her mom is of the same indigenous group as my mom (PurÃƒÂ©pecha). Like me she is a blogger and we found each other through Julio el Sueco. She strongly identifies as Chicana and strongly identifies as Conservative...I don't get it either...

who’s a xican@/chican@? i guess any one definition will include some while excluding others. i am actually most interested in those who self-identify as xican@. what are our politics? our backgrounds? and the neta, i have yet to meet a republican who primarily identifies as xican@. anyone?
