I just finished reading Generation S.L.U.T. I got it from the Columbus Public Library (ranked #1 library in the nation!). The library has multiple copies of the book and even so, I had to get on a waiting list to get a copy. I first read about the book at salon.com. And what could be a more interesting topic than sexuality and youth? The book is great albeit disturbing at points. His book gives me a similar feeling I had when watching Bowling for Columbine and Marilyn Manson was interviewed (you can see the interview here) that feeling of “Oh my you are the only person who gets it”.
I probably could’ve done without the rape entry in Generation S.L.U.T. but other than that I give this book a “good summer time reading” rating.

Come on, fried candybars. WTF?! That’s sick as hell. Do you have a death wish money pit or something. You are soooo much better than that. Go fast boil some water, dump in whole broccoli shoots, drain once to remove external chems and reboil, add rice till done, cut up, add soy sauce, eat and store. FAN-FRICKING-TABULOUS. Oh my! The pressure of having both my siblings be Vegan. Charles keeps telling me that “Vegans are unhappy people”. Maybe obese unable to move with ease people are unhappy. Don’t tell anyone but I really should become a Vegan…we all should.
If by “should become a Vegan” you mean “have another fried candy bar,” then by all means go ahead.
