Per Readers Request
For those of you who requested that I set up a pay pal account for the Gonzalez family, you can find one below. HOWEVER, the account is set up to go to my bank account because they fear getting a bank account and having it on the internet. I think this is understandable since they aren’t at all familiar with the internet let alone pay pal, and of course don’t trust banks. So, if you do donate money, I can give you the family’s phone number and you can verify with them that they did indeed get the money and what the spent it on. Or if you like I can give you their physical address and you can send the money directly to them and again I can give you their phone number. Or if you’d like to send “stuff” I can let you know what kinds of things like bottles of saline solution, cotton bandages, shirts with buttons that can be easily be put on and taken off around wounds and casts.

If any of you think of anything else I should add, please let me know.
Thanks to those of you who recommend I do this.

What size should the shirts be, Elena? Adults, children’s? I’m assuming they’d need to be short sleeved…

Man I’ve been meaning to email you for the longest time! Plus I can tell you all kinds of stuff in person! Give me a call. In terms of shirts Adults and Childrens. Actually only one child under age 14 and that is Olga, and yeah’s hers short sleves. Everyone else prefers long sleeves because they are embaressed by the burn wounds.
Agustin,
Don’t push yourself so much. Take care of your family at home, they will be fine here, you put to much weight on yourself as it is. Plus Anthony my Irish compadre noticed my link wasn’t working…now that it is we shall see what happens.
Anthony,

If there is ever a situtation where children need a home, please send me a note. I am a single mother (Age 45) with a 7 year old boy. Both my parents are born in Spain and they live with me in Vermont. We all speak, read and write spanish. My son has not mastered the still as of yet. We would like to open our loving home to any orphaned child. And if they speak spanish, it would be amazing! Don’t you worry that any children are not citizens of this country. This can be taken cared of by lawyers. They came here, lived here and should be protected here. Maria
