I need to purchase some kind of recording device to record the lectures I am attending (bio, physics, and chem). I also would love to have an Ipod. Is there any kind of excuse I can use to get an ipod as an educational tool? I mean can you use Ipods to record lectures? I would use the Ipod to listen to the lectures, but how to record them, I don’t know. Plus if I purchase some kind of thingamabob how can I transfer the lectures to my Ipod. Anyone know?
Most, (if not all) iPods can record audio, they just need hardware.
Griffin Technology has plenty of iPod recording accessories: http://www.griffintechnology.com/ and there are others available.
I had NO CLUE that you were blogging again. I hate being on the late train, but really glad to see you back. And yes, get that iPod… even if just to record lectures.

Belkin makes an attachable recorder for iPods. Not sure how long your recordings can be though.
At the very least it will double as a kareoke device, http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/ikaraoke/, when you don’t want to listen to lectures!
